The cottage lies in secluded woodland accessing wonderful walks around Loch Ussie, which is an SSSI for it’s richly varied native plant and bird life. Beyond the loch is the Pictish iron age fort on Knockfarrel, set against the backdrop of magnificent Ben Wyvis.

Downstairs the cosy cottage has a super kingsize master bed with ensuite and a modern kitchen with induction hob. The original byre extension has been converted into a fantastic living room with high coombed ceiling and a woodburning stove. The room opens onto a patio that draws the house into the surrounding woods. Upstairs there is a double room, a twin room and a second bathroom. All rooms are beautifully warmed by underfloor heating.
